Tappan Hill Mansion Wedding
Jennifer and Michael’s wedding at Tappan Hill Mansion was so heartwarming in the sense that not only was it a celebration of the couple’s deep love for each other, but it also highlighted the union of two families and honored the couples’ parents and their heritage. Check out the video and the photos from Jennifer and Michael’s beautiful wedding day.
We have worked at numerous venues all around the tri-state area, and the catering done by Abigail Kirsch is just top notch. You DO NOT want to miss the cocktail hour. Whether you are doing a first look or getting married at a church nearby, try your best to finish all the photos before the cocktail hour starts! Even if you are getting ready at the venue but would rather not do a first look, the garden/outdoor ceremony area that overlooks the Hudson River is just out the door, so it’s absolutely perfect and will not take as much time compared to other venues. Choose the color for your uplighting wisely! The Pavilion Room has lower ceiling than most other banquet halls, and they’re already draped and have those string lights that give that warm, romantic glow. You want the uplighting hues to compliment the venue’s classy characteristics, not overpower them or contrast them. Speak to the DJ/MC in advance on your choice of color and let them know you don’t want it to look like a nightclub.
